Human
Centered Care

Let’s empower people to make changes
Let’s work together to get you where you want to go. I want to help you help yourself.

Virtual care works because it means I can’t fix things for you. You have to do it. And once you do? Damn, it’s powerful.

  • How do we get there? Education and exercise. It is going to take some work and it will also be worth it. We will do it together.

Structure of an Appointment

  • Updates

Where are you at? Have you noticed any changes? Any wins? Any struggles?

I will ask clarifying questions as necessary to fully understand and hear you.

This may take the lion’s share of our session because if we don’t know where we are then we can’t know where we want to go.

  • Ideation

Now that we know what was working and what wasn’t, we can either progress or regress respectively! The most perfect rehab program in the world is imperfect if you can’t or won’t do it.

We need to make your program work for you not the other way around. I will show you new movements or review old ones and you will follow along.

This is our time to try out new things until we find the right fit.

  • Review

We will go over what we covered in our session. If anything still doesn’t feel right then we will address it now.

Our time together isn’t finished until you are confident in our plan going forward.

I will always send you the changes we made so you don’t have to remember. You’re a busy person and one less thing to worry about matters.

It’s a collaboration

There are always two experts in the room. You’re the expert on your experience and how your pain/injury has impacted you. Without your input we can’t make a good plan or meaningful progress.
