Meet Dr. Jonathan

Dr. Jonathan Chung is a board certified chiropractor, National Academy of Science certified personal trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist with a special interest in rehabilitation and esports. He believes in meeting people where they are before helping them. 

Jonathan has worked with casual gamers and professional esports players around the world in essentially every video game title imaginable. He is also the former Performance Manager for the Toronto Ultra and Toronto Defiant professional esports teams and a current member of the 1HP Esports Health and Performance Staff, the premier rehab brand in esports.

  • I booked a free consultation and I wasn’t sure yet that I wanted something more, so Jonathan already looked at my posture just to help me. I then asked for a single session which was expensive for me but ended up being VERY well worth it. I had a sharp pain in my neck and shoulder because I spam my V-key (attack move in League) constantly with my thumb, and apparently my thumb wasn’t strong enough so I unconsciously used other muscles. I was very stressed at this time, and scared for my career. But Jonathan reassured me that I could fix it, and within three weeks I was playing 12h/d again (still spamming a bit less), and after two more weeks it was completely gone. My Method

  • Listen

    There are always two experts in the room. You and me. I need to hear what the other expert is saying.

  • Experiment

    Once we understand you and your experience we can try new things to change your pain. This may include exercises, diet, sleep or load management.

  • Refine

    The only constant is change. What worked in the beginning likely will not work once you have progressed and improved. You are changing so your rehab should too!
